Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-21
These terms govern your use of BeatCut. By creating an account or rendering a video you agree to them.
You keep ownership of the clips and music you upload. You confirm that you own or are otherwise authorised to use every file you upload, including the rights needed to reproduce, edit and publish it. BeatCut does not supply, host or link to any copyrighted films, series or other third-party footage.
BeatCut analyses the footage you provide, selects shots, cuts them to the beat of the chosen music, applies a style and generates captions. Output quality depends on the material you supply. Processing is automated; results are not reviewed by a human before delivery.
Do not upload content that infringes copyright or other rights, is unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or depicts other people in a defamatory or privacy-violating way. Do not attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits or payment. We may delete content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Rendering consumes credits. The price of a render is shown before you submit it, and credits are reserved when the job enters the queue. If a job fails for a reason on our side, the reserved credits are returned automatically. Credit packs and subscriptions are sold through Stripe; taxes and currency are handled by Stripe at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in the billing portal.
The service is provided as-is. Rendering capacity is finite and jobs are queued; estimated times are estimates, not guarantees. We may change features, limits or pricing, and may suspend the service for maintenance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeatCut is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from content you upload or publish. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
You may delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion removes your data and generated videos. We may update these terms and will publish the new version on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
